We have actually been a little busy so I have some things to share!
First off, lets talk baby.
I am 38 weeks tomorrow. Yay!
Up until my last doctors visit which was this last Monday, the baby had been breech, which was getting me quite nervous. But after a few trips to the chiropractor, the little one made a turn. I don't think I have ever been so excited to see a round head, head down on the ultrasound before.
Just 2 more weeks left and I am getting nervous. With every pregnancy, I get scared. I worry. And I don't enjoy it as much as I should. This pregnancy has been so good to me. I really have had nothing at all to complain about. I just feel so thankful. And yet there is still those what-if's in the back of my mind that often times I just can't put to rest. I am thankful for my husband during these thoughts though. He is always positive and often gives me blessings to help me feel better. He tells me that whatever happens, Heavenly Father will always help us through it. He is so right. :)
So today, I am excited. I cannot wait to meet this little person who has been kicking like crazy in its little womb. I am so excited to see Kanzis love on her baby sibling, to grow, to share, to be almost a family of five! Wow!
So what we have been up to...
Josh and I built some shelves for our garage. Josh did most of the work, obviously, but it was nice to be able to help a little.
What a fun little afternoon project.
I don't know if it was the building of the shelves or not, but I was inspired to do another project. This time a sewing one. I have some throw pillows for our couch but I wanted to make some pillow covers. I didn't want to have to go out and buy new throw pillows so I found some fabric that I loved and that would match my color scheme and got to work...
I love how they turned out! I made 7 pillow covers and each one took about 15-20 minutes, from the beginning cut to the last iron run. Awesome. I used this tutorial I found on pinterest if you are interested in making these. I got my fabric, surprisingly, at Walmart for a little under $4.00 a yard. So easy and fun!
We took Kanzy to the park the other day. She loves to be outside.
And she got to go again with her cute cousins that she hasn't seen in a while. Josh's brother's family is visiting from Montana and it has been so fun spending time with them.
Yesterday, we all went to the This is the Place Heritage Park. I think the kids really enjoyed it.
This was the first time Kanzis has ever been on a pony and she loved it! She didn't want to get off.
Kanzis was not interested in getting a shave at all. lol. None of the kids were.
Doing some leather stamping
They even got to pan for their own gold!
Some random pictures...
Watching the rain
Ever since we bought our new couches, she loves pushing the button to make it recline. Silly girl.
I love her so much!
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
