My why

My sister and I took the kids to the treehouse museum. They had so much fun, and so did I. I felt just like a kid again. We picked a good day to go because there was hardly anybody there, we almost had the place to ourselves! They really got to spend their time in each little place and explore and I loved watching them.
Fun fact for ya...the ratio of four kids to two adults is a little overwhelming, especially when they would start wandering off. But, I think my sister and I did a good job at handling them and the number of how many kids I would like didn't change so thats a plus!

I just love these kids!

Josh's sweet mother got us a poolside room for a night so we could have a little getaway. Before we went to the hotel to enjoy some swimming we went out to dinner to the melting pot with Josh's brother and sister-in-law. We had so much fun. It was a new experience so there was a lot of laughter! We always have fun with them. :)

We had to take an unexpected trip to Cheyenne yesterday and decided to stay the night there instead of driving back and getting home at 2 in the morning. I would say it was a good idea! We took advantage and Josh and the girls went for a little swim. The water was pretty cold so we didn't stay long but that didn't stop these girls from playing. They love the water! This was Kamzlin's 1st time ever in a pool.

They love their daddy!

Kamzlin's 1st Birthday is next month. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. I have been planning and getting things ready for a little while now. I make a big deal out of my kids' 1st birthdays, I invite a lot of family, serve food, do a lot of DIY decorating, get pictures taken and more. I know this may seem a little crazy for something that a 1 year old won't even remember but 1st birthdays are a big deal to me and I want to tell you why.

Kaizen. He is why. He didn't get to be here to turn 1. I wanted to have a birthday party for him so badly, but the Lord had different plans for his 1st birthday. To see my girls turn 1 is such a wonderful celebration that they are here. That they get to spend that special day with me and their family.  I only hope Kaizen knows how much I love him and think of him everyday. I cannot describe into words how much he means to me, how much I love him, and how I miss him so much, there are no words to relate that. It just feels like so much more than a simple I miss him and love him. He changed my life! He was the one that made me a mommy, he was who made me feel like my heart actually left my body. I am so grateful that he was born to me. I am so lucky he is mine.

I had to be without him on his 1st birthday. I get to be here for hers. Thats a big deal, not just another day.

:)
