Update and favorite quotes

It has been over a month since my last post. Yikes. Not good. I need to remind myself how important it is to do this. I want to be able to remember these days.

It has been pretty busy here though! We moved into a beautiful home that we absolutely love. It is out of town and has that country feel that I have always wanted. We bought our first home in 2007 and found it took quite a while to sell, but alas it finally did. We have been renting since about 2010. I don't like to rent, I like to have something that we can call ours and be able to decorate however I want, but I have been thankful for the places that we have rented, places to keep us warm.

We counted and this will be the 9th move in the 7 years we have been married. 2 of which happened in the same year. I am kind of done moving. It is definitely nice to be able to own again though. We have so much space here, we just love it.

As for the pregnancy, I am a little over 28 weeks and feeling great, other than the couple times I caught the bug anyway. I am so thankful to be able to have children. The feeling of them moving in my tummy always brings a smile to my face. Kanzis touches my belly and says "baby" all the time but I don't think she understands what that means because apparently her belly has a baby in it too lol. She is going to be such a good big sister. She just loves babies.

Kanzis will be 18 months on the 24th of this month, which means she will be able to go to nursery in our church. I think she will do great. She loves being around people her size. She is so smart, it is truly astonishing to me. I love watching her build things with her legos and how she feeds and takes care of her dolls. She is saying so many words and can pretty much understand anything I tell her. I wasn't feeling good the other day and was laying on the couch, she had a runny nose so I asked her to go wipe her nose. She went upstairs and wiped it in the bathroom with the toilet paper like a big girl all by herself. She helps me unload the dishwasher and do the laundry. I can't help but get teary eyed watching her. I just can't believe how fast a person can grow. She has such a kind and loving heart, and loves to give kisses and hugs. I look at her and still can't believe she is mine. I only hope that I can be a mom who can set a good example for her. I feel like these times are crucial because she is like a little sponge who absorbs anything she sees. I want her to be good and kind for always.
