Hey everybody! As I look at other people's blogs I am inspired to start my own......not becuase I feel like everybody should know whats going on in my life....like I am sooo important....but for something to show my children when they are older.....something to look back on to remember the memories that are so easily forgotten.
I will skip through my whole life strory and just start with when I married Josh....we were married on August 25th 2007 at the East Canyon Resort in Henefer, Utah. It was such a beautiful day....such a wonderful feeling in my life to marry my best friend...I look back on pictures and videos of that day and its hard to believe but I love him even more now than I did then....and I thought back then there was no way I could love him more...funny how that works. :)
On my birthday two years ago
Anyway, we were in love and happy, but we wanted more...I know greedy right... So....we got married/sealed in the Ogden, Utah temple on March, 10, 2010. I gotta tell ya...there is a difference in being married "civily" and being married "eternally"...believe it or not...we became even more happy! Having God in our lives really has made our marriage stronger! Well...even with all this happiness....which I'm not gonna lie,.isn't easy all the time....we felt like something was missing...so......we tried for a baby...and on October 25th 2011, God blessed us with one. A happy baby boy named Kaizen Krew! His arrival was really scary for us first time parents....here is the story....
The night of the 24th I was a little concerned because I realized I hadn't felt Kaizen move all day....so I was really contemplating on calling the doctor when all the sudden as I lay in bed I felt him move..a sigh of relief overtook me and I dozed off to sleep. The next morning, I hadn't felt him move so I did what I felt was right and called the doc to see what she thought...she said to come in...so about 10:00 a.m. I drove to the hospital....when I got there they put monitors on my belly and monitored baby Kaizen, then the doc said she wanted me to be monitored via ultrasound for a half hour to see if there were any movements in his heart beat...after a half hour of monitoring, Kaizen did not move once so the doc told the nurse to get me ready for an emergency c-section... I called Josh...who was at home..and he was on his way....just to let you know, we live literally 4 minutes from the hospital...thank goodness!
So Kaizen was born at 11:59a.m. and wasn't breathing...he needed a little help :(...so Josh went with Kaizen to the little NICU they had there....the pediatrician told us that we needed to take Kaizen to Great Falls, MT because they have more staff and an awesome NICU to take care of him. We live in Sidney, MT. which is 6 hours away from Great Falls. So Kaizen and Josh were life flighted to the Great Falls Hospital. After I was released from the hopital, two days later, My mother and sister drove me to Great Falls so I could be with two of the most importrant boys in my life. We were in the NICU for 21 days...we had to bring Kaizen home on oxygen but he was able to get off it about 2 weeks after we got home....and he is doing wonderful today!!
Saying goodbye before they left for Great Falls, it may not look it...but this smile is forced :(
First time seeing him since he left

Wow that is alot of summing up...there is so much more I wanted to say but that would make this post EXTREMELY longer than it already is! Well, needless to say...I am so happy and feel so very blessed to have baby Kaizen (KZ) in our lives, I thank God everyday for this precious soul.
I am so excited to start blogging and I hope you all enjoy!
