The reason for my lack of blogging......this time anyway......is that I have been beyond extremely busy!
So you know how we moved into a house in December?.........well that house was a rent until sold option.....and if you take one guess, I bet you would be right on of what happened!..... It sold!! So we needed to be out of that house by or around the first of March.
But.....on top of that, we weren't completely moved out of our house in Sidney yet. So we also needed to be out of that house and have it all nice and cleaned out by the first of March.
Are ya starting to see the extremely busy I was talking about.....?
We couldn't leave to go to Montana to clean that house until after the 21st. because it was my friend Katie's bachelorette party that day and I was.not.going.to.miss.it! So we left a couple days after that.
On our way up......we ran out of gas on the side of the highway. It was freezing. I was worried that my little bundle was going to get cold too fast so before it got way cold I took her out of her car seat, put her beanie on, and wrapped her tight in a big blanket. Then I snuggled her......and the best part is, she let me! She eventually fell right asleep having no idea what just happened........
sleeping beauty
Luckily Josh's brother was only about 7 miles away from us and he brought us some fuel! Pheww! Any longer, we may have froze!
We did eventually get to Sidney and cleaned everything out........
I sure am going to miss that house. Mainly for one beautiful reason.......Kaizen.
This was his house. When I see this house, when I smell this house. I think of him.....always! There were some wonderful memories in this house. I would be lying if I said I didn't shed any tears as we were leaving. It was hard. I knew we wouldn't be in Sidney forever. It was never the plan. Man how those years flew by. Goodbye Sidney. You were good to us!
As we were in Sidney, Kanzis got to see her cousins. She loves ila!
I didn't get a picture but her cousin TeeLie would just stare at her and he would want to sit right next to her. Not hold her though.....just sit right next to her. It was adorable!
I already miss those cute little ones! I can't wait for the first annual Judd Reunion in June to see them!!
When we got back from Montana we moved into another rental. This one is not on the market so we won't be leaving for a while! Thank goodness! It is a cute little......quite old.....house. It has been great so far!
What else........
Oh....Aunt KaeRae (aka....Kristina) got Kanzis a swim suit......
Seriously! I cannot wait until she can go swimming!!
Also I forgot to mention Valentines Day.... Josh was in Colorado working so I didn't get to spend it with him but I did get him a card and a little gift.....
Some of the kiss marks look like big blobs.....oh well....she is a squirmy baby!
Josh had his dad and stepmom deliver me some flowers......
I loved them!!
We also got to find out the gender of Jake and Kassidy's baby......
I am so excited for another little princess in the family!
I started watching YouTube videos on how to crochet and made a couple things.....
cute little booties for Kanzis
and a beanie for me
Upcoming projects include..... little crochet sandals, a beanie, and a little blanket for Kanzis. And whatever else I find on Pinterest and want to make lol.
This last Wedensday was one of my best friend's wedding! Katie and Brayden Tholen! Ahh! I love it. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Josh and I.....along with many many others got to be a part of the sacred sealing in the Temple. It was beautiful! I love that I got to experience that prepossessing moment with her. She looked amazing!!
After the sealing we had some lunch which was catered by Zupas....which I never heard of until that day.....and now I am kicking myself for never eating there before! It was delicious! We ended the day with lots and lots......and lots of laughter!! My mouth still hurts! Such a wonderful day! I am so so happy for those two!!
So it feels like everything is finally back in order. Everything is put a way and organized and I finally have time to update the blog! Yay!!
And on a serious note... I have been having quite a strong feeling to address something. I have a few friends that are going through some trials. Some maybe only temporary, some maybe life long. Trials involving those sweet little miracles we get to call our children, our babies. Babies that are born with complications. Children who may have a handicap of some sort. My experience with Kaizen has taught me so much. He was classified as abnormal. And you know, that word hurt. It was so hard to hear. But something I learned...something that sweet little boy taught me was this. How lucky am I! How lucky am I that the good Lord trusted me to take care of one of his precious angels. How wonderful that he chose me to care for such a delicacy. These beautiful souls need love and nurturing. Not just any love, but a love that can handle the stares, the whispers. The love that can go for miles and miles without stopping. The love that can protect. But most important, the love that can be seen and felt from the eyes of that beloved child. HE....our remarkable maker...He chose you! Don't be discouraged, be ever so grateful. Even if you only get to take care of that babe for a little while, you got to serve the Lord in something that is so very important. So to you wonderful parents of these miraculous babes, just remember... He chose you. He picked you!
I hope you enjoy these random pictures as I end this post........
And may you have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
