We love Christmastime!

We are in Wyoming! We have most of our things here and they are just sitting in boxes in the rooms they belong in....I am slowly getting everything put away. I can't decide what takes longer.....packing or unpacking.... But today I got the kitchen all organized and that took like most the day......weird. Anywho, so now I am just slowly getting each room done.

We did find time to get a real tree and decorate it before it was too late. I have never had a real tree before so it is pretty neat. The house smells piney fresh!

No we didn't go somewhere cool to get our tree.......good ol' walmart.....don't judge lol

Josh left for Montana this morning to get the rest of our stuff. That or grab his truck and head to work......not sure yet......long story! Anyway....I miss him already and have I told you I hate goodbyes......even if its for a few days.....ugh!

We took some pictures of Kanzis the other day in some Christmas lights. I gotta tell you, my husband has a natural talent for taking pictures.......

She sure is a cutie.

Merry Christmas!! I shall write again soon!

All about Kanzis!

So I am going to start this post with it being all about Kanzis!

She is growing too fast, and becoming much to independent for my liking! She would much rather put herself to sleep at night then have us rock her to sleep! Seriously, what happened to my baby! We try to rock her and snuggle her at night and she fusses until we put her down in her bed. She is very content with just her and her thumb......

Yes she is a thumb sucker.....apparently just like her mommy!

She will put toys in her mouth but always goes back to that thumb lol!

She is sleeping all through the night and I feel so lucky. She usually goes to bed at 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. and wakes up around 6 or 7 a.m. She both bottle feeds and breastfeeds. I like that she can bottle feed breast milk so her daddy can bond with her.

Her very very favorite thing ever is getting her diaper changed! Seriously no joke. I set her on the changing table and she squeals with excitement and kicks her legs and has a gigantic smile the whole time! She loves it! She is a morning baby! She is so happy in the mornings, she immediately brightens our day. Josh and I fight over who gets to get her first! Waking up to her giggles and grins, I just cant be mad or sad which inevitably makes for a beautiful day.

She is a talker for sure. I think she loves the sound of her voice and so do I!! She is laughing out loud a little here and there and it is oh so sweet!

She can't roll over quite yet but oh man does she try! She is not a fan of tummy time when she is on the floor but she will actually tolerate it a little longer if she is on her tummy on my lap or my belly.

She loves kicking her legs! She is definitely a squirmer......just like she was in my belly!

I just can't believe how much and how fast she is changing and growing. Almost 3 months already. Goodness where does the time go.....I have said it before, it just kind of slips away from us.

She loves loves loves her daddy!

I put this picture of her on Facebook. I just can't believe how beautiful she is. She is like a perfect doll. Hey, I helped make that! :)

So now I have started putting my pregnancy month by month pictures next to her month by months and I love them. I was hoping that they would all be in the same place but with our move they will be a little different but that's ok.  It's so fun to see the changes in both of us. :)

This is her watching me get ready. She literally sits there so content and watches me get ready the whole time. She only starts to fuss when I am all finished! I talk to her and tell her how excited I am when I will be able to do her hair. I just love her!

This is our Holiday card front and back that we sent of to friends and family this year. And for those of you who didn't get one.....this one is specifically for you. I love Shutterfly!

And as for the move.......it is coming along. We plan to leave here in a few days. You should see our house......insanity! Seriously I get anxiety looking at everything. We have tried to keep it organized but with boxes everywhere, you can only do so much. We got a trailer today that we are going to start loading some stuff on so that will relieve some anxiety. Oh how I hate when things aren't organized and I absolutely hate clutter so this is hard, but it will be nice when we can get in the new house.

I hope you all enjoy the Holidays. I know it can sometimes can be hard. For some it is hard because of the busy life they live, for some it is because trying to enjoy the holidays with a loved one no longer here is really hard. Both reasons are why it is a little hard for me this year. moving sucks anyway but right before Christmas, it really sucks. And it's still hard to really enjoy the Holiday's with Kaizen gone. Last night was one of those hard nights, the cry yourself to sleep kind of nights. I miss him so much. But I know he wants me to enjoy this season, maybe for Kanzis, maybe for me, probably for both.  So I am going to really try. For him. For her. For me.

Big News!!!

Ok guys! We have some big news to share!!

Ready........

We are moving back!! Ahh!!

So we found a house to rent in Lyman, Wyoming which is only an hour away from our family in Coalville, Utah! 1 hour beats 12 for sure! We are going to rent until we find something more permanent or maybe even until we can build in the near future!

I am so excited to be moving back closer to family, but sad to leave our friends and the church here in Sidney. Such wonderful people in that church! They have helped us so much in our life struggles! My life will forever be changed because of them.

It's always scary to move and start over somewhere but we are excited for this new adventure! I'm not excited to move everything but it's gotta be done!

I loved living in the Bridger Valley and I'm really looking forward to being back. :)

Anyway that's our Big News lol! We are planning on moving all of our stuff in a few weeks! Yikes! Its about to get real busy for us!

So Kanzis had her blessing on the 1st at the Coalville Stake Center.  She is such a joy and oh so cute! There were tons of family members from both sides there to support us which was awesome! There were so many worthy priesthood holders that were able to be a part of the circle. It just made it so spiritual......all that priesthood power! I love that my husband is able to bless our children. It seems like just yesterday he was giving Kaizen a blessing. My how time just seems to slip from us.

After her blessing we had a light lunch at the Coalville Fire station with all of our families! Warm soup and yummy sandwiches! Also some cute pink cupcakes!

she loves her grumpa

she was fussy until grandpa great held her....then she was out! :)

We had three Thanksgiving dinners this year! One with Josh's mom, step dad, and one of his brother's family. The second with all of my family...aunts, uncles, cousins, and all at my grandma's house. And the third with my mom, dad, and siblings at my moms house! And every one of them was delicious!

I wish I would have took pictures but I forgot.....I must have been too busy stuffing my face!

But while at my grandma's house I was looking through her scrapbooks and found a picture of my sister Rylee when she was a baby......I had to do a double take because I could have sworn it was Kanzis....

Crazy huh!! Kanzis had some whipped cream on her lips.....yes she does kind of like it. lol.

So we have this tradition on Black Friday. We get up in the morning and do a little shopping, then we meet up with our aunt and cousins for lunch at Olive Garden and then sometimes we do something fun. Last year we went bowling......and this year we went to Boondocks! We did a little go carting and then played arcade games. It was a pretty fun time. And we pretty much got all of our shopping done without the annoying crowds! Success!

Fun times for sure!

Have a great week and drive safely!

been a while......

Wow it seems like it has been awhile since I have done a blog post. I need to be better at doing them because I know I will want to be able to look back on them later on.
I definitely don't blog as much as I did when Kaizen was here. At first it was really hard for me to do posts because he was my life, everything was always about him and that is exactly how I wanted it. When he left this world I just thought what is the point of blogging now....
But I still feel there is a reason Heavenly Father inspired me to start this blog and I know I need to keep at it. One good reason is for this cute little baby girl of mine. I know Kaizen would want me to continue for her.

So we haven't been up to much over here. Just trying to stay out of the cold and keep warm. We are getting ready to head to Utah on Monday for the Thanksgiving holiday. I just love getting together with family. It warms my heart! I love the Holidays!

Josh made our dog Buckley a nice dog house equipped with a heating lamp and all.......(heating lamp not shown but it works great!)

I'm so glad he finally has somewhere to stay warm. He loves it so far!

So we are just packing and getting things ready for the trip now. We plan to stay for about a week.

Random picture time........

Kanzis with her cousin TeeLie! He is so cute, he would just stare at her. This is him giving her loves and then the next one is him rocking her. Adorable!

My sister-in-law and I went to a little boutique today here in Sidney. Let me just tell you......when you have a girl its basically common knowledge that you will go bankrupt! lol! There is so many cute things for girls! We got a few flower headbands for our little ones. We also got Christmas outfits for them. Oh my goodness I can't wait until next month when she can wear it. It is so cute!!

For now lets have a good time celebrating Thanksgiving! After all, there is oh so much to be thankful for. Have a great weekend!

Kaizen's Birthday and a Halloween Party!

We just got back from a quick trip to Utah. We celebrated Kaizen's 2nd birthday and had a Halloween party!

It was hard to celebrate Kaizen's birthday without him here. As we sang happy birthday to him at his headstone I couldn't help but imagine what he would be like and what he would think about everyone celebrating a day just for him. I miss him so much. I still have days where it is really hard. Where I just want to stay in bed all day and shut the world out. It's hard, he has a part of me that will never be healed. It's like I have a permanent open wound, that if I'm not careful, and even when I am, can hurt so bad with just a tiny touch, a tiny word.

Having Kanzis does make it a little easier, she makes those days better. Maybe it's because when I look at her, I see a little bit of him. Because I know he is happy and smiling down on us. Because when I think of his smiling face, I feel joy. I love so much my sweet angel two year old.

I found this quote and wanted to share it. I very much admire the truthfulness of it's message.

"The death of a baby is like a stone cast into the stillness of a quiet pool, the concentric ripples of despair sweep out in all directions, affecting many, many people."  -John DeFrain

He is and will always be loved by so so many!

Happy Birthday sweet angel!

Now if you know me, you know that I LOVE Halloween! It's my favorite holiday and I get so excited every year!  My sister and I hosted our annual Halloween party at my Uncles house it was so fun! I am already totally excited for next year! Ya that's right.......totally!
We played Clue in real life. It took quite a while to finish and was kind of insane! But still so much fun.......as always with my family! :)

^ Seriously my husband is the best! He is such a good sport
when it comes to me and my crazy obsession on Halloween!
(for the record.....he picked this costume out himself, but with the
options....it was the best choice) :)

As for me and my excuse on the lame bee.......I had to pick something
easy for breastfeeding.....it's all I could find......worked great lol!

Kanzis with her great grandpa! I sure love my gramps!

So while it was so fun to visit family, and enjoy some fun activities......it is good to be back home.
Now we await the next trip back to Utah for Thanksgiving! :)
