Feelin' Crafty!

Ok you guys! I suck! There are no excuses other than the last time I did a post it took so long and my computer wasn't working very well I was not excited to go through that again. lol So hopefully this time will go better.

I have been pretty crafty lately......and by I....I mean my mother and I.

I went to Coalville this last weekend just to visit. My mom and I......and baby K.....went to Hobby Lobby to get all of the things we needed to make our ideas come to life! Ok so I actually was going just to get some quilting supplies and it turned into about a three hour shopping extravaganza because that's how Hobby Lobby works......you go in for one thing and come out with a basket full!

Anyway, what started out with a rotary mat, rotary cutter, and some rulers, turned into scrapbook stuff, stuff to make our own valentines wreaths, and a few other things. We had so much fun and Kanzis was a trooper! I think she is going to love Shopping.....yikes.

So here is my wreath my mom and I made.......

Perfect for Love Day coming up :)

I also got some letters for Kanzi's wall, some scrapbook paper, and little things to decorate them with......

So cute!

With the leftover tulle we had from my wreath, My mom helped me make Kanzis a tutu for Valentines Day. I tried to find one her size and couldn't so we just decided to make one....

I can't wait to take pictures of her in it!

And lastly.....I am making a quilt.....two actually. My first ones ever. Josh's stepmom Nancy is helping me make them and I am so excited!

They have this thing called block of the month here in the valley. You pay about $8.00 for the first block and if you get that block finished by the next month, you get the next block free. So you could end up with a whole quilt for $8.00! It's awesome. So I finished my first block and I am ready to turn it in for February's.........Gotta wait until the 8th though......

Don't look too closely......you will find mistakes! Lol. But it's my first one and I am so excited for the finished product!

The other quilt I am working on I should get done fairly soon and it is so cute! Can't wait to show you when it's all done!

So Josh and I came up with a smoothie that will leave you wanting more and I just had to share!

These are all the ingredients you need......blend and boom!  If you cant see what they are, it's just some frozen fruit (we tried using fresh fruit.......not as good) Honey Greek Yogurt and Organic Acai superfood juice! Give it a try.....it may be your new favorite smoothie!

So some things we have coming up........

Of course the Superbowl which I love watching......pretty much the only game I watch....this and the one before it.

A baby shower for Josh's cousin's wife.

Jake and Kassidy's gender reveal party! Ahh! So excited! I told them to wait until it's born but whatev....this will do lol!

Valentine's Day <3 <3 <3

Katie's Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party! Woot Woot!

A whole bunch of sewing!

And of course my very favorite thing........

.....spending time with this cute little cheeser! (sorry that it is blurry....she was jumping with excitement lol)

Baby K is doing so good. She is a rolling machine! She prefers rolling from her back to her stomach.....I rarely see her on her back at play time......once I put her down, she is right on her tummy!

She is getting better with sitting up, sitting for longer periods of time. I can't believe she is 4 months old! She seems like she is so much older sometimes......like 4 months going on a year. Lol! She is growing more tall than wide. She is our tall skinny bundle of joy!  I love her so much! She is so happy I love it. She is my new favorite radio station in the car......I love listening to her "sing"

Life has been pretty good. :) As much as I am not a fan of summer, I am looking forward to it getting warmer so we can go play outside.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

May your team win the Superbowl.......as long as it's the Broncos! Hahaha!

Random picture time........

Bridger got a haircut!! I should have taken a before picture......it was bad!

P.S. this post went a lot better! :)

Happy Friday!

Our Holidays

Hey guys!!
I found some time to update the blog! Yay!

Let's first talk about Christmas. We spent our Christmas Eve and day in Coalville, UT. with our families!

On Christmas Eve we went to Josh's side of the family for their annual party. Its so fun, I look forward to it every year. This year we had it at the Wanship Fire Station. The family is sure getting bigger.

Dressed in her Christmas attire.

She loves Grandpa Great!.....and he loves her!! :)

She sure is pretty!

One of the fun games we played

Yay! Santa!

Cousin babies!

We had such a blast!

We stayed the night at my sister Kristina's house, then woke up as early as we could and headed to my moms to open gifts!

Gram Gram got Kanzis a dolly! Her name is Rosie and this baby loves her!

Opening her gifts......
My camera was quite foggy but I thought this picture was cool...

We didn't take many pictures on Christmas, it was pretty hectic and we were jumping from house to house but it was mostly an enjoyable day. Kanzis got tons of toys that she loves to play with already!

I got the chance to have a girls day with my friends. Oh how our lives have taken us in many directions, but we still manage to get together and I love it. Katie got back from China.....ya China! my friend is awesome! Britt is moved back from Boston! Carissa is visiting from St. George. And I am finally back from Montana! I love these guys so much! There is no such thing as sadness with these guys!

Kanzis loves her aunties!!

I can't wait until next time girlies!!

Yesterday we had a fun craft day at my house. My mom, Kristina, Jack, and Kass came over and worked on some projects my mom dreamt up......

It is a vision board for her work. She's so creative!

We also did this cute project.

We had fun. We will be doing craft days every month and I'm so excited! Now I have to get on Pinterest and get me some ideas!!

My little babe turned 3 months on the 24th. She is getting so big and becoming so playful! I love watching her play with toys. It's new to me. I could sit and watch her all day. We play for hours until she is ready for a nap. I thank Josh all the time that he has given me the opportunity to be able to stay at home with her. I love being right next to her every time she reaches a new milestone. She truly lights up my life.
She is lucky you know. She has a big brother watching over and protecting her the best way a big brother can.......with God's help.

I have more pictures on my phone but I am having trouble getting them on my computer, my laptop is being a butt! But I will try and put them on my next post.

I know it's a few days late but I found a wonderful idea on Pinterest for the New Year. Have a jar and label it Happy Moments of 2014 or something like that, then whenever something good happens or something happens that makes you happy, write it on a slip of paper and put it in the jar. Only good things. Then on New Years Eve of this year open and read them all. We are going to try it this year. I think it will be so fun to open and read all of the wonderful things that happened this year!

I hope you are all having a great start to this New Year!
Life is being good to us right now. And where I know that will probably change at some point.(Not being a pessimist, just a realist) We are learning to just roll with it. Happiness is something we create for ourselves. And so is sadness. I choose to be happy!

Also I am so so excited that I will be getting a niece or nephew this July! I am so happy for my sis Kass and her hubster!

It's not too too late....... Happy New Year Guys!!
